Instructor’s Assessment on "The Maths Story" from Logical Learning Pte Limited

Down Syndrome Association has been using “The Maths Story” in March 2002 to teach children with Down syndrome between 7 and 20 years old in mathematics. The class is conducted once a week and lasts for one and half hours.
As the Instructor of these classes for almost 8 years I find “The Math Story” very well structured and covered the syllabi from pre-school to primary six. Our students find the lessons easy to follow, fun, interesting and easy to understand.
Through using “The Math Story” our students revised concepts that they needs to brush up on. For the more able students, they are learning new mathematics concept at a pace suitable to them.
Some of the original students from the 2002 batch are still in the class and reached the primary 5 and 6 levels.
I feel that our student would have made much better progress had we have the opportunity to use “The Maths Story” on a daily basis instead of once a week.
