Our Company is the sole distributor of the above-mentioned programmes, which were developed by a group of professional Mathematicians with decades of teaching experience. These programmes were initially developed to overcome the shortage problem of good and dedicated teachers in Europe.
Not only did our programmes helped solve the teacher – shortage problem, they also have the following features and advantages which will be beneficial to your school and students:
Structured and Effective Maths Enrichment Programmes:
“The Maths Story – Primary and Secondary”
We are the sole distributor of the above mentioned structured and effective Maths Enrichment programmes. These programmes were initially developed to complement the Maths curriculum of schools in Europe. Over the years, the programmes have helped thousands of students around the world, especially those with low ability, improve in their Maths.
We hope that you will, like several other schools in Singapore, find the following unique features and advantages of our programmes beneficial to your school:
1. Based on Singapore MOE syllabus
“The Maths Story – Primary” covers Primary 2 thru to Primary 6 syllabus with more than 600 structured and interactive lessons and exercises.
“The Maths Story – Secondary” covers Secondary 1 thru to Secondary 4/5 syllabus with more than 800 structured and interactive lessons and exercises.
2. Interactive lessons which enable independent learning
The competitive edge of our programmes is that our lessons are structured, interactive and easy-to-understand which enable students to learn independently (See testimonial from Regent Secondary School).
3. Structured lessons
We have often been asked about the quality of our tutors because vendors of conventional Enrichment programmes need to provide tutors to teach or explain their lessons. As the lessons of our programmes are structured to guide the students step-by-step through each topic starting from the basics, no tutors are required. The lessons are so well structured and easy to understand that Down Syndrome children are using our programmes to learn Maths
4. Unlimited randomly generated questions
After each lesson, our programmes provide unlimited randomly generated questions for the students to practise. Students may do as many exercises as they wish. As the questions are randomly generated, they are never the same.
5. Allow students to relearn past Maths concepts and also learn ahead of syllabus
Medium and Low ability students who cannot understand their current Maths can quickly relearn past concepts (rebuild their Maths foundation), which will then lead them to understand their current Maths. Students who have relearned past concepts and understood their current Maths can proceed to learn independently ahead of the syllabus.
6. Friendly and non-threatening
Students will find our programmes friendly and non-threatening, thus, they will be encouraged and motivated to learn and enjoy Maths and above all, they can learn at their own pace.
7. Free Format Maths
This special feature of “Free Format Maths” means that our programmes are not rigid and will accept any mathematically correct workings or solutions by the students.
8. Automatically mark students’ workings line by line
Our programmes automatically mark the students’ workings line by line and alert the students when a mistake is made. This allows the students to correct their mistakes immediately without having to complete the whole exercise and then realising that their answers are wrong. They also know at which stage the mistake occurs and correct it immediately. This feature eliminates the tedious job of teachers going through the students’ mistakes with them.

9. Automatically record students’ individual scores
Our programmes also automatically record the students’ individual scores which enable the teachers to track the students’ progress. Students will know their progress immediately and need not wait for their examinations results.
10. Enable teachers to give individual attention to 40+ students simultaneously
With our programmes, a single teacher can simultaneously give “individual” attention to a class of 40+ pupils with different abilities (HAMALA), thus overcoming the school’s biggest challenge. Conventional teaching method will need 40+ teachers to give individual attention and guidance to 40+ students, but it will be too costly.
11. Free up teachers’ precious time
Eliminate the tedious task of teachers preparing the lessons and marking the exercises of 40 pupils of different ability (HAMALA).
12. Overcome teachers’ frustration of teaching low ability students
Help teachers to overcome their frustration if they have to teach low ability students as teaching these low ability students can be very taxing, let alone trying to remain “cool” at the same time.
13. Genuine second chance for low ability students who want to learn
By the time the students are in upper Primary or Secondary classes, many low ability students will be matured enough to realise the importance of education and will be willing to put in their effort to learn. Unfortunately, these students will find it very difficult to understand their current Maths because of their weak foundation and the lack of understanding of past concepts. Feeling frustrated, these poor students may conclude that they are not capable and may give up their studies completely. Our programmes give these students a genuine second chance to relearn and understand their Maths, starting from the basics.
14. Raise standard of Maths
Our programmes will definitely raise the standard of Maths of your school as they allow low and medium ability students to catch up with their Maths. With their complete 100% understanding of Maths concepts, teachers will also find it easier to teach students to solve challenging word problems, thus raising the standard of Maths in your school even higher and decreasing the number of failures. Importantly, no students will be left lagging behind.
15. Cost effective and worthwhile investment
Our programmes will help to cut down the cost of education without having to compromise on quality teaching. Unlike other enrichment programmes which your school has to continually pay to the vendors for their services, you can outright acquire our programmes for long term benefits. The programmes become investment assets of your school.
16. Enrichment programmes
To fund for our programmes, schools use their IT/Opportunity/Cluster Fund. Being enrichment programmes, schools can also tap on the students’ Edusave Fund to share the cost. Unlike other enrichment programmes which are usually conducted for a specific period, “The Maths Story – Primary and Senior” are available for students to learn throughout the year and subsequent years. This makes the money spent by your school worthwhile and rewarding.
17. Support
Prior to commencement of our enrichment programmes, we will carry out diagnostic tests to assess the students’ ability and then advise on appropriate individual study plan for each student to follow. At the initial stage (for approximately one week), we also conduct workshops for teachers and students on the usage of our Maths enrichment programmes.
Several schools are using our programmes to rebuild and strengthen their students’ Maths foundation and the results have proven to be very satisfying. We have received feedback from teachers that their students enjoy learning Maths with our programmes.
